Jazz at The Salisbury Presents - Sunday 24th of March - Quadraceratops and The Paul Baxter Quartet

Hello all. This Sunday night at The Salisbury we have some excellent music for you ....... 

Quadraceratops are a septet playing Cath’s original music. The band formed in June 2011 for Cath’s final recital at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama, and reappeared in May 2012 with a new set of music at The Forge, Camden. Since then they have played for Efpi Records in Manchester, The Jazz Meet in East London and SE Collective in South London. Most recently,they supported Get The Blessing in the London Jazz Festival (November 2012) before taking some new material out for a run at Jazz at the Waterline in Dalston.

The Paul Baxter Quartet is the latest group put together by Bassist, Composer and Band Leader Paul Baxter and features some of the UK's up and coming Jazz Musicians, Tom Harrison - Sax and Flute, Tom Taylor - Piano and Jon Ormston - Drums. Their Debut album has been described as a "Fiery", "Accessible" work featuring great performances from the members and the group have been praised for live performances: 

Paul Baxter, acclaimed for his work with his Trio Eyes Shut Tight and his Big Band The Give a Little Love Jazz Orchestra - A Horace Silver Tribute, was awarded "Best Soloist" at the 2011 European Jazz Contest, "Jazz Yorkshire Composer/Arranger of the Year" in 2012 nominated for 2013 "Take 5 Edition VIII" and is completing his Masters in Jazz at Trinity Laban conservatoire of Music and Dance in 2013.
