FLASHMOB + THE TWELVEHEADS
FLASHMOB are a quartet of four of London’s most in demand and dynamic young musicians.
The Guardian’s John Fordham made Flashmob his ‘one’s to watch’ for 2012, saying that the band’s “current F-IRE label debut should widen the audience for its mix of lyrical jazz and taut contemporary rhythms.” Following the release of ‘Generals’, the band featured in Jazzwise magazine and embarked on a Jazz Services supported nationwide tour aswell as performances at the London Jazz Festival, The Vortex and Jez Nelson’s new comtemporary showcase, Jazz In The Round.
Their debut album ‘Generals’ was released on F-IRE in September 2011.
Featuring:
Ryan Williams - Guitar

Formed in mid 2012, by drummer and composer Peter Ibbetson, THE TWELVEHEADS feature some of the most in demand musicians and improvisers of their generation featuring:
Tom Challenger - Tenor Sax
Alam Nathoo - Tenor Sax
Tom Farmer - Bass
Peter Ibbetson - Drums
Influenced by the angular obscurity of bands such as ‘BLOOD COUNT’, ‘ALASNOAXIS’ and ‘SCIENCE FRICTION’, also incorporating the textural quality of ‘MOGWAI’, ‘RADIOHEAD’ and ‘TORTOISE’. THE TWELVEHEADS have a sound which utilizes the cross-fertilization of rock, electro-acoustic improv and jazz.
