Mike Chillingworth is a London based saxophonist and clarinetist. Over the years he has worked with many fine musicians including Kit Downes, Jim Hart, Stan Sulzmann, Gareth Lockrane, James Maddren, Julian Siegel, John Taylor, Josh Arcoleo, Tom Challenger, Lewis Wright, Jon Scott, Sam Lasserson, Calum Gourlay, Tom Farmer, Josh Morrison, Ant Law and many others. Mike appeared on several records including Richard Turner’s Round Trip on F-ire records, Andrea DiBiase’s Oltremare Quartet on Babel and the Jack Davies Big Band, two albums with Ant Law’s group, Troyka’s large ensemble Troykestra’s album, and many others.
Mike has recently recorded a debut album of his original music entitled Scratch and Sift, to be released on July 1st 2016 on Two Rivers Records. The album features six of his favourite musicians: Tom Challenger, Josh Arcoleo, George Crowley, Lewis Wright, Sam Lasserson and Jon Scott.
