The Tom Green Septet
Trombonist Tom Green leads a band made up of some of the most
talented young musicians in the London jazz scene.
Winner of the 2013 Dankworth Prize for Jazz Composition,
he is currently studying on the masters course at
the Royal Academy of Music and has performed alongside musicians
including Iain Ballamy, Gareth Lockrane, and Mike Gibbs.
His septet weaves together influences as diverse as
Brazilian Choro to New Orleans second line to form original modern
jazz tunes with striking melodies, colourful harmony and propulsive
grooves, using the full range of textures available in the
seven-piece ensemble.
