Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I've heard there is a web site for trendy bar names and cafés is there any truth to this?

Or is it urban myth. Bru, Jam, oh what's the other one...

Thanks for that, Michael. And also for the link to the leftoverlondon site.  Its name may sound a bit unappetizing but the site has its own treats.

Not just eggs, then, at the Egg Stores.  Is there schmaltz herring still for tea?

I have this vision of it at one time selling everything from Hummingbird to Ostrich eggs but I suppose it it was somewhat more prosaic than that.

Worth clicking on Alan’s Dirty Bagel’s. My dyslexia kicked in as I read it as Dirty Beagel’s, cute Flikr page. :)

Not a café, but I do like the name " Hairport " ( a hairdresser's )

Some years ago I suggested that London Concrete name their new Hornsey installation simply 'El Cementerio'. They have not yet got back to me.

I saw a hairdressers in Mauritius called 'Atmosphair'.

Isn't there somewhere on Green Lanes about to open called "String Beans" or similar? Musical instruments and coffee? Did I dream it? I think I saw people putting up the sign yesterday. No doubt someone will correct me.
