Hyperoptic are available for broadband installs on the ladder now. Has anyone been through the install process? Interested to know your experience, including sales, install & use of their broadband.
Thanks

I'm on the ladder and had it for since June 23.
Install straightforward: IIRC a drive past to check it would be OK, then 2 people a week or so later who did a tidy install that took about 45 mins. Since install its worked perfectly with no issues at all.
Very happy. I have a £50 quid off voucher if you want it. Just pm me,
Cheers, Mark
Are these the people stringing the cables across the road from telegraph poles, through trees etc?
Fair enough - wonder who the other lot are
That's probably Community Fibre. (See comments about halfway down)
Thanks Hugh.
They strung a long piece of blue rope (not cable) up our street at a low level , through trees etc. Any idea which department at the council for complaints?
i signed up to its symmetrical 150mbits/s + telephone service earlier this year. calamitous at first in terms of installation. ofcom automatic compensation penalties triggered over £100 in credits to my account, so i didn’t start paying for the service (at £20 per month) until month 6 or 7. the actual broadband is great. no outages. unlike eg virgin media, that was a complete disaster in terms of reliability. i am completely happy with hyperoptic now, and would recommend it.
1. If you're on Twitter, @contactharingey are apparently quite efficient.
2. Try the Love Clean Streets app.
3. Contact your councillor/s. Anna Abela is engaged but busy.
cheers
Thanks for your replies. We've decided to give them a go. The pre-check for install has just happened. Definitely others in our road have already switched to Hyperoptic. Their infrastructure btw is all their own.
We just had ours connected this week (Warham). Install seemed to go ok but service died the same day (luckily hadn't cancelled Virgin yet). Came back yesterday and fixed it (a problem with the road cable having been damaged subsequent to it being laid a few weeks ago). All good so far. Looking forward to less outages compared to Virgin....
