As the IDF scambles to provide an alternate explanation for the bombing of a hospital, let's remind ourselves of David Lammy's stance on the current conflict.
This is the Labour Party briefing paper on the 'Israel-Hamas War' sent to MPs by @DavidLammy's office.

It expresses full-throated support for Israeli war crimes and contempt for Palestinian lives. pic.twitter.com/Da9hLn56AV
It's understood that Starmer and Lammy met with council leaders today and were told in no uncertain terms to fix up.

No surprise. I wrote to Lammy after the Israelis bombed Gaza in 2014 deliberately destroying the homes of 100,000 people and murdering thousands including 500 children. They didn't even have an excuse then. Israel has been murdering Palestinians for decades. He replied that he 'understood' the reason for the crime against humanity. He is as unprincipled as Keir Starmer which is why he's in the shadow cabinet.
Our man in Westminster... it's purely about self-interest.

As someone said at the start of this thread, even a broken clock like Lammy is right twice a day.
A ceasefire simply allows Hammas to regroup and potentially do the same thing again or combine with Hezbollah to do something even worse. Hammas needs to surrender and hand over the hostages unharmed. Then Israel will talk. Until then, the existential threat to Israeli people remains and they are right to continue fighting.
I guess that makes it all the more remarkable that you so consistently manage to get your timings wrong, Gordon.
Be nice Jimmy. Remember the house rules.
