How to design the perfect playground

Günter Beltzig, designer of the wonderful Diana Memorial Playground amongst many others, offers his golden rules for the perfect playground in the Guardian today.

However, he also says that he would prefer it if the playground became obsolete, "in a society that accepts children everywhere and doesn't confine them to a special area."
