Today (Sunday) was the first of four Wireless festivals/concerts in Finsbury Park. I'm surprised there are no posts about it. Did it affect you? Any feedback (or photos) is being collated by the Friends of Finsbury Park.

'most likely'?
so you are saying you know someone who won't be in London that day, but don't actually know their reason why, but will imply they are doing so because of the noise, so it fits your narrative.
splendid work!
Lol - underrated comment.
I suggest you make your views known to the council (parks@haringey.gov.uk and join the Friends of Finsbury Park who continue to campaign against the council's large events policy.
Seems to have been very quiet tonight, but these fireworks after midnight are taking the piss.
I sent them an email Monday morning asking about the fireworks. They didn't bother to reply. Someone else sent them an email on Thursday about the sound test and they replied straight away. Are they trying to ignore the fact that the fireworks are there? I thought Haringey had banned fireworks in the park. There was nothing in their leaflet about them. As there was no warning, owners couldn't prepare their pets for all this. (sedatives etc)
PS. Was their fireworks again last night? I was rushed into hospital yesterday and will be here for a while yet so I will miss it all. But my animals won't.
yeah its almost as bad on Nov 5th or New Year's Eve...they should stamp those out too...how DARE people enjoy nearly...oooh...ten whole minutes of fireworks.
In the Gardens: Doors vibrating from bass.
Very unpleasant, but having to accept as a fait accompli.
Can't really understand how this is acceptable in parallel with efforts to clamp down on noisy neighbours.
