The Hornsey Journal is leaving Hornsey, in fact the borough of Haringey, with a move to new offices in posh Primrose Hill.

New address: 100A The Avenue, NW3

The paper still invites you to 'drop in' if you have any news ....

Well, when you write most of your news by rehashing press releases from Haringey Council and lifting quotes from Harringayonline, with the odd foray out to Area Assemblies passing for local investigative journalism, you don't really need to sit in Hornsey do to that.
I understand the lattes are much nicer in Primrose Hill and you can sometimes see Jude Law going for his paper.
Ouch! :)

The local newspaper industry is having a hard time financially apparently. Guess that's why they're moving; to amalgamate offices.

Of course, The Journal series is part of the Archant Group that seems to own most of the newspapers in north London. Newspaper consolidation probably has some way to run. Much of their former revenue (and TV) seems to be ending up with Google Inc. & similar ...
