Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Hints of Spring in Harringay
With BME's sighting of a solitary daffodil in Rowley Gardens on January 11th, it's clear that Spring is waking up early and putting her face on. This afternoon, a pretty little iris was blooming in Warham Road and I spotted a clump of snowdrops in one of my favourite gardens on Wightman Road.
Any more hints of Spring sighted in the neighbourhood?

Capel Manor is having a special saturday opening this weekend, to show off their fabulous winter colours. It is looking great, I'm there every week on a course and it's a joy. They dont usually open weekends till March so this could be your only chance to see their winter showing - and to get loads of ideas for ways to add winter interest to your garden.
It's not quite the hood but is a straight drive up the A10 to just before the M25, or to 217 bus + short walk, or train from 7Sis to Turkey Street and 20 min walk.
Will dig out some recent pics in a minute.
