Preparing you and your family to deal with Winter colds and flu
An afternoon of making and sharing kitchen remedies to be used with friends and family to combat those winter viruses.

We will focus especially on ingredients to be harvested and sourced in and around Green lanes and Railway Fields, as well as a couple of medicinal plants that participants may want to grow in their own gardens. We will try out recipes for delicious preventative tonics, as well as some not so delicious ones! We will explore practical strategies for bringing down fevers and soothing sore throats and tickly coughs. Participants will get a chance to experience herbal snuffs and make their own personalised anti-flu remedies.

and the other workshop will be on:-
