My very heavy butler sink has partially collapsed due to the kitchen unit supporting it rotting from water damage. Who do I need to call to sort this out? Is it a plumber, carpenter or kitchen fitter? It probably means replacing the kitchen unit. Any help gratefully received!

If the sink has not come away from the plumbing then a kitchen fitter is your best bet but this time on a Friday anyone who will come out.
Thanks Adam, Plumbing still seems to be intact (miraculously!). I think I'm resigned to a wonky sink for the weekend anyway!
Try & find a piece of wood you can cut as a support to stop it damaging the pipes. Good luck.
Now would be a good time, if you don't know already, to find the taps/stopcocks to shut off the water supply to the sink - just in case.
Thanks very much for the suggestions. I found a number on here of someone who is a plumber and kitchen fitter so I'm going to try that first. Yes, I now know that butler sinks are a bit of a hazard, but I'm really hoping to save mine as it is an original feature of the house!
I'd just like to recommend Kab who I found through Harringay Online. He was fantastic. Really efficient, cheerful and stayed within budget even when he had to go out and get another part to fix my kitchen sink cabinet! Very reasonable. I couldn't recommend him highly enough Kab 07859 032327
