CHAMPIONS project has been looking at the experiences of families with children under 5 who have been living in temporary accommodation. It is a nationwide project led by Professor Monica Lakhanpaul (UCL) run by University College London and De Montfort University Leicester.
CHAMPIONS is working with families and professionals to develop policy recommendations that will help children recover from the disruptions of the past two years.
To make policy changes, to get MPs to listen to our (and your) recommendations, we need data. CHAMPIONS has talked to Shelter, Crisis, and others, but data is what we need and that is where you can help families’ and your voices be heard.
Here is what CHAMPIONS needs from you:
We can help families complete over the phone or in-person as well as provide translation support, and families get thank-you vouchers for participating.
We have attached some text on this email that you can copy paste in messages, Whatsapp or emails if you would like to share our research. The research has been ethically approved by UCL and DMU, is confidential, and we will provide vouchers as thanks.
CHAMPIONS wants you to be part of the national conversation. Any support you can give us will be greatly appreciated.
If you want to know more about the project or get in touch with us, call 07436 030173 or email champions@ucl.ac.uk
