I think one of my first postings on HoL mentioned him. Bog Ruggles was complaining about the cost of raised intersections, which I believe were one of his ideas. They save lives. Top bloke.
Where would we be for radical thinkers if it wasn't for Lithuanian pogroms and Nazi persecution?
On the other hand, if Ralph (Adolphe) Miliband had been as religiously orthodox and oppressively authoritarian
as Hillman pere, might not David & Ed be as radically challenging of the status quo as Meyer & Ellis ?
