Windows and doors very neatly covered with black vinyl, no gaps, no seeing in.
Asked next door at Rakkas who say that the space is to be refurbished and will reopen (run by them, I took it) as a restaurant, not fish and chips.
Local sources of fish and chips - does that just leave George's, near the Salisbury, again?

My impression was that Hastag & Rakkas were already connected?
My problem with Hashtag was that they had nothing remotely healthy on the menu, so if you went in there with some people who wanted fried something & chips, there was no other option.
My problem with Rakkas is the persistent smell of Shisha smoke throughout the restaurant... it's not the only restaurant on Green Lanes with this problem, but it is one of the worst.
Yes saw this also on my way to work this morning. It has the same director as Rakkas so yes, most likely owned by them.
Noticed hashtags closure. I think you're right in saying that does just leave George's on St Anns. I generally get a pick up from Cannon's in Crouch End these days. Really recommend but a little more pricey than your local traditional chippy
Visited Hashtag a few times and each time spotted a rat in broad daylight running across the floor!
Rattag!
Georges is the real deal.
A few times ? Why did you go back after the first time ?
