As far as I know, all the planting is done by the Friends of Ducketts Common

Hi Liz,

The planting on Ducketts Common is done by volunteers from ChristChurch, London in partnership with Christians from local churches, some homeless people and interested local residents.  

The crocuses and snowdrops were planted in 2011, the wildflower meadow from 2012 onwards in stages as this requires quite a labour intensive ground preparation.

It is beautiful and with Sun breaking through in the mornings it certainly brigtens the walk to the tube :)
