Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I know there have been audits of the Passage, but I was wondering how we should report possible structural issues.  I've a attached a couple of pictures where the wall looks likes it's getting ready to topple.  (Apologies for gratuitous toddler photobombing and for the fact that the website insists on putting them landscape even though on my desktop and phone they are portrait):

This is between Cavendish Road and Duckett Road.

Good for you Michael - every time I walk past this wall I wince a bit and wonder what to do.

I had thought of dropping a note in at the house at the end, but I don't even know if the wall is their responsibility. It does look bad - and it's all the more tricky as it is at a very narrow section of the passage because there is a lamp-post or stench-pipe (you can just see the bottom in one of the photos) that restricts its width.

Well, you know, we rugged bear-hunters from the colonies are men of action, eh?
Thanks for highlighting this. I'll report it to the council and they should be able to take it from there.

Karen, do you recall if this was the one we asked Haringey to look at a few months ago because of falling bricks, one of which came close to braining my husband?

At the time we were told there was no immediate problem but I do think the owners need to be told to do something about it.

I have checked with the NAT and it wasn't picked up on the audit of the passage.  It has now been passed to building control and I have asked them to keep me posted so I can come back to HoL to keep residents updated

This was in fact addressed many weeks ago now, I kept forgetting to post a thanks. Thanks to all involved.

Thanks Karen.

I used to run past it, chivvying children ahead. Maybe I should have done something more pro-active. We've moved house and the walk to school is now down the other bit of passage, but it looks like it's got worse.
