Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Harringay Lantern Parade - this Saturday

Its the Harringay Lantern Parade this Saturday afternoon.

There's a Christmas market on Seymour Road from Saturday lunchtime, the Traders are going all out with the lights switch on at the St Anns junction at 5pm, and lantern making at Railway Fields from 2pm.

The parade starts from The Gardens Comunity Gardens, Railway Fields and Fairland Park from 4pm. At Failand Park we'll have hot chocolate, mince pies and mulled wine, and Father Christmas will be there giving out chocolates.

Ant, thank you - I was a bystander at the Railway Fields gates, I was really staggered by how many families had made lanterns - the marshals stopping the traffic across Green Lanes had a considerable job to do.  Bravo!
