Harringay Community Housing Project Wins £50k Funding

The St Ann's Redevelopment Trust (StArt) have just received a grant of £50k from the Tudor Trust.

Ironically the trust was originally endowed with shares in Wimpey (now TaylorWimpey), one of the very companies that StArt was founded to fend off.

Today Tudor fund a wide range of organisations working to support positive changes in people's lives and in their communities around the UK. As part of this brief, they provide support for community-led housing. They saw in the StART project the potential for establishing a replicable way for housing developments to happen in a more community friendly way.
