Haringey TimeBank website goes live
"A Timebank is a tool by which a group of people can exchange their time and skills without the use of money.
Everybody’s time is valued equally so for every one hour you give, you get an hour in return. Your credit is banked and can be spent on other member’s time and skills.
The Timebank fosters a sense of community by increasing neighbourliness, improving well-being and helping those in need."

Thanks very much for posting this. I am the new Time Broker, joining Sam Leggatt.
The Haringey Timebank also has a new premises to go with our new website! We're at Winkfield Resource Centre in Wood Green on Mondays and Wednesdays. We're looking not only for members to do timebank exchanges with one another but with groups, such as teaching about how to use a sewing machine, music sessions for disabled adults, etc. Please get in touch via the website if you would like to offer any help with the Timebank or group activities as well as other exchanges!
