According to the Borough website, the current transport strategy document was adopted in March 2018, see: https://new.haringey.gov.uk/sites/default/files/2024-02/haringey_tr...
It sets out a grim picture of the position at the time and describes where the borough wishes to be in 2026. I make no comment on either the picture or the state of progress except to remark that the document seems more heavily focused on public transport than on the state of the road network generally.
I notice that the Council recently opened a consultation on what might become a new transport strategy. The consultation can be found at https://new.haringey.gov.uk/streets-roads-travel/travel/transport-s...
This one seems to concentrate more heavily on the road network and it is open for responses only until 29th November. One might have thought that completing this strategy should logically have preceded the one on parking policy but, nevertheless, I would urge interested parties to make their views known. I have done so and suggested that Haringey should do more to discourage/reduce the amount of traffic that simply uses our residential streets to pass through. Or to put it another way, to reserve the use of each residential street for vehicles that are going to or from addresses in that street.
