Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Now Wood Green library is closed, where can we go to speak to someone re. council matters?

The Wood Green Customer Service Centre is still open, apparently:

sam_b, Have you considered that every Haringey ward elects councillors. Most wards have three; the smallest wards have two. 

Most are available by phone. Or can be visited in person at what's known as an (advice) "surgery". I have no up-to-date information about which councillors are helpful and which are either well past their useful-by-date. Or never were much good.
There is a fresh election at the end of May so it's worth making sure you're on the Electoral Register.
Casting two or three votes every four years is not really much for accountability. Personally I no longer vote solely on party lines, but try to find out a bit about each candidate standing in my local ward so I may be able to have a tiny part in replacing Useless-Candidate-1 by potentially better Candidate-2.
