Haringey Council Consultation on Waste and Street Cleansing Services

Hi all, 

I thought it would be helpful to share this link to Haringey Council's ongoing survey on the delivery of its waste collection and street cleansing services. 

The central issue at the heart of the consultation is whether, once Haringey Council's contract with Veolia comes to an end in 2027, the Council should extend this contract with Veolia; outsource waste collection and street cleansing services to a private provider following a competitive process; or alternatively bring these services in-house (i.e. delivered directly by the Council) or deliver these services through a Local Authority Trading Company.

More detail on these four options is set out in the explanation document that accompanies the consultation. 

I warmly encourage residents and local businesses to participate in this important survey, which will remain open until around mid-September.
