Haringey "Accepted as homeless" Oct->December 2011

I'm an serious fan of the Guardian Data Blog, and they have just published a rather excellent interactive map of the England homeless data from Oct to December 2011.

Here is the picture for Haringey and surrounding boroughs.

Obviously there are complexities to the data which are described on their page, but Haringey are sadly number 5 on the "Accepted as homeless" list for this data set.

Overall for England the "Accepted as homeless" for Dec 2011 is less than 40% of what it was in 2003, but the trend is upwards and we can guess what is coming.

Sorry if this is gloomy - I thought it was of interest.
