Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Has anyone seen the gritters this week. The council say they prioritize certain roads but year after year Allison ,Hewitt and Beresford road become extremely dangerous and nothing is done. These roads are very hilly and need priority. We have known for days about this weather.
Haringey council ,you've had our money now give us the service !!!!

Apparently the council see priority for Frobisher & Seymour Rds on 'the ladder' only.

They are meant to also priortize roads outside schools but they haven't done. Probably why South Harringay I & J Primary schools are closed today.

Mine you, North Harringay Primary is open.
Why on earth do they prioritise Seymour??

I say this as a Seymour resident - surely the steeper roads should take priority. Bizarre.
And why grit Frobisher - named for Martin Frobisher the Arctic explorer? No wonder he never got through the Northwest Passage - seems even Harringay Passage defeated him.
See this posting, just before Xmas. If you look at my comment at the bottom of the first page, you see a link to a Haringey page about gritting with a spreadsheet about which roads have priority. I wonder if roads like Allison and Hewitt are too slippery for the gritters if the y don't get there before the icy conditions strike?
