Correction (and belated, facial recognition!) ~

The winning woman candidate on the left appears to be Councillor Erin Wolson and not as I mistakenly wrote, a different Green Party woman, Councillor Jo Kuper who was elected in Harringay Ward.

Erin Wolson won in Noel Park Ward.

Another Green Party candidate elected in Noel Park who appears in the HCP's photo is Councillor Johann Beckford.

This Ward had previously elected old school chums Peray Ahmet and Emine Ibrahim, standing to the right of the mic (on far right appears to be Labour's candidate, Menha Zola).

The third member of the trio of old school girl friends (Seema Chandwani) was re-elected in West Green Ward. For several years, Councillor Chandwani has been the Cabinet Member with responsibility for the über-conservative Highways Department.

There will now be a new Highways Cabinet Member.

One of the unhealthy, debilitating or corroding feature of the last Council Administration, has been cronyism. The Administration before that, suffered from both cronyism and nepotism.
