It seems Haringey Labour's online aggressor, Emina Ibrahim (formerly of this parish), has had her twitter account hacked today. These are not serious people.

Harringay ward candidate Olly's mummy, Melanie Gingell, has been successfully elected as a councillor in Alexandra Park. Labour love to keep it in the family.

Why the pointless nastiness? Do you know anything factual about this family?
I have never met either of them, by the way.

But I can tell anyone who who wants to know that, from my own sixteen years as an elected councillor, the most productive joint working across party and across the council, depended on mutual respect, mutual listening, and basic common courtesies.

Split ballots?

The Straights are divided from the splits as they're easier to count reliably and safely. The Splits are tabulated and counted separately and extra carefully otherwise, with a mixture of Parties, mistakes are more easily made.

The first few Wards to Declare were all two Member Wards with many fewer votes to count; most are three-Member Wards.
