Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Someone has 'tagged' my front garden wall overnight with black spray paint. Has anyone else had this happen to them? I've no idea who it was or why I was targeted, but I'll have to buy a specialist product to get rid of it.

That’s horrible,  I know it’s no comfort but it probably random vandalism.  You might want to file a report with the Police as graffiti can be a criminal offence.  That way you can get a crime number for your insurance company for any claim for the cost of removal.

Does it say anything in particular, Maddy? If graffiti is offensive, the council, in the form of Veolia, will remove it pretty quickly.

Just a scribbled 'tag' - I suppose I could add something to make it more 'offensive' :-) ,but probably will just have to buy something to remove it.

When this happened to me I used paint remover and a wire brush to clean it off.

VIP Graffiti sell a specialist paint remover for this kind of paint that did the job on my wall. I used the paint remover then cleaned it off with the wire brush.

You can also report this to Haringey Council as non-offensive graffiti using the Love Clean Streets app.
