The following picked up on the wires from a Warner Estate* resident, and shared with the author's permission
We went to this Le Pot de Terre on Hornsey High Street Friday night. It's a terrific restaurant and I just wanted to share with you how much we loved it.
Alasdair Fraser, the owner and chef, has an impressive culinary background having cooked in a number of high-end French restaurants and has combined those experiences with his Mom’s Trinidadian influence to create a unique style.
I had a breast of duck that was perfectly cooked and the cod and plantain starter was delicious.
Unfortunately the cheesecake for dessert also went down a treat.
This guy is brave to be opening a restaurant in this economic climate and at this location and is keeping his prices super low in order to make a go of it.
I encourage you to support him and doubt very much that you will be disappointed!
Bon Appetite!

Try the little grid icon top right of their website. ‘Contact Us’ gives you times. There are also various menus there.
I got the menus and opening times earlier today by doing just that but the icon seems to have disappeared. Website problems?
Looks yummie.
