Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

Good news for local school pools

Money from a Sports Fund set up by Boris Johnson is to benefit South Harringay Junior School's Swimming pool. The heating system and changing rooms are set to be improved.
Chestnuts Primary School will also have its pool brought back into use.

the pool certainly gets a lot of use. it's a bit of a community hub in its own right. you can smell the chlorine from a good few yards away, probably it's to combat the youngsters doing a series of lengthy wees.

That's great - and a possible rebuff to Cameron's government for scrapping free swimming for kids!

Can anyone use South Harringay's pool though?

Chestnuts pool is in use already - it is used by the whole school during school time. It is small but facilities are all good.
