Just an update - Enki came strolling back in the catflap at 2 30 am, skinny as a rail, after ten days on the lam. We don't know how or why, but at least there is a very happy ending! Thank you everyone for your help and tips!
Hello,
On the off chance anyone has seen our male neutered ginger (orange and white striped) cat - he doesn't wear a collar and is pretty scared of people, but he's not a stray and has a microchip (if you can get him to the vet). His name is Enki, though he doesnt seem to know that. He has a heart condition so please do let us know if he's been hiding in your shed...! He normally hangs out between Cavendish and Burgoyne roads at the Green Lanes end of the street. Thank you to anyone can help us find him!
thanks - I will see what i can find and give it a try! we think he may have gotten scared by some building work upstairs, he's not the bravest of cats. His brother seems very distressed though, so we are a little worried :/ hopefully he's just run a bit far, and someone is feeding him that will eventually see the signs we put up!
Hello, could this be your cat? He's been brought by a member of public to Medivet Dalston but if I remember well they couldn't find the chip and the cat was handed over to Celia Hammond.
Hi- Thanks very much, that does look a lot like our cat. He is chipped but we will definitely phone celia hammond! do you know when he was brought in?
Really really appreciated thank you so much!
That ginger and white cat was found in Oakdale Rd on 4th July.
Hello, thanks so much for looking that up - our cat was last seen Thursday the 14th on Cavendish Road so doesn't seem to be the same cat. He looks nearly identical to the pictures though!
Thanks! We will keep searching...
Will keep a lookout for him, what a handsome cat. Well done for microchipping and neutering him, if only everyone were so sensible.
Remember to call the microchip company, tell them he is missing and check that they have your correct contact details.
You can put details of a lost pet on Animal Search with close up photos, and it's free to do that.
You will find useful tips on lost cats on Stokey Cats and Dogs website which is run by Ella (Elzbieta above).
Thanks very much - I have found the Stokey Cats and Dogs website, it is really helpful. Will follow up with Animal Search too! Maintaining hope...
Hi Malcolm, thanks so much - we went over but probaby a bit too late. No meowing though we did see an orange ball of fur wandering down the new river. Please do let us know if you hear anything again, or if its north/south/east/west side etc -- we will try to run over and see if it's him! In the meantime will try checking at different times of day.
Thank you so much!
