Oooh Spring! With this beautiful frog in the Harringay Passage, you are really spoiling us!

And there's frog spawn in the pond at Railway Fields too!

What was the poor chap doing in the passage?!  I've seen plenty of froggy action in my garden the last couple of days....just wish the bloody cats would leave them alone.  I had to put one out of its misery after being gored by a furry offender.

I often find them in the Passage at this time of year. On the way back from "action" I imagine. It was quite large so was probably female. Frogs move a lot and a long way at this time of year to mate and lay eggs. She hopped into a garden eventually where she'll be perfectly fine (provided the cats or foxes don't find her).I had one take up residence in my front garden for a while but it got bored of all the kids oohing and aahing and went off. I also get toads in the front garden. Leave a pile of leaves and  garden waste in a corner and its amazing what will take up residence.

I lifted up the top of a stack of bricks in my garden and found a nest of tiny toads - quickly covered them up again, so hope they weren't too distrubed.

Just wow! If you kiss it does it turn into Clive Carter?

If I was going to kiss a frog to find a New Zealander I'd at least hope for Jemaine Clement.

i have made a little pond out of a big bucket/container and the frogs love it..not seen any this year yet though
