Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

From the Friends of Parkland Walk:

Saturday 14 January 11am - 1pm
With the feasting season now over it's time to get back out and work off that extra portion of pudding that looked so inviting at the time! We're looking for volunteers to help tend the edges of the path. This will mostly involve cutting back of ivy, bramble and low intrusive branches. Tools will be provided and we have a small supply of gardening gloves, but some secateurs would be useful for the task and you may prefer to bring your own gloves. And if you think you have some friends who might enjoy a little act of environmental community work, don't be shy in asking them along.

We will meet at the Holmesdale Road entrance just behind the Boogaloo pub on Archway Road and make our way south. Parking at this entrance is easy and free on Saturdays and we're a short distance from a number of cafes and watering holes on our return. Please wear suitable footwear and bring appropriate clothes for the conditions on the day.

We will also bring litter collecting tools so any youngsters can take part too.

Our tools are kindly donated by Galliford Try

Winter litter blitz
Saturday 11 February 11am - 1pm

This is advance notice that we will be holding a big winter litter blitz on both the northern and southern sections. The starting points will be Muswell Hill entrance on the north and Oxford Road entrance on the south. Please make a note in your diary and try and enlist some friends for a very worthy session. We'll send out another reminder nearer the time.
