FRIDAY: Conservation Volunteers wanted at Coppetts Wood

A message from The Conservation Volunteers about a volunteering opportunity happening this week.

"On Friday 22nd June the Conservation Volunteers will be at Coppetts Wood Local Nature Reserve; which is a fantastic ancient woodland. We will be repairing and treating fences, carrying out meadow management work and vegetation clearance. This is in partnership with Capital Clean Up to get the capital looking its best for the Olympics; as the flame goes past Coppetts Wood.

"This is something you don't want to miss out on. All the tools, gloves and leadership is provided as well as FREE tea, coffee, biscuits and bananas. So come on down and have some fun at Coppetts Wood this Friday.

There is more information attached as well as our Volunteer Welfare Form that needs to be completed and handed in on the day.
