French Alps Ski Apartment Availabe for Christmas- Argentiere, Chamonix Valley
As a result of a last minute cancellation our ski apartment in the lovely village of Argentiere in the Chamonix Valley is available for the Christmas week if you fancy a last minute break (Sat 21st Dec to Sat 28th Jan).
The apartment sleeps 8 with 2 double rooms and a bunk room for 4. It has an open fire and stunning views of the Mont Blanc Massif, along the whole valley. Some pics below to give you an idea of the views from the large terrace and the location itself. It is less than 5 minutes from the Grand Montets cable car with the highest and arguably the best skiing in the Chamonix Valley.
If you fancy a last minute break over Christmas please get in touch. I am happy to discuss a large discount to the normal seasonal price.
Thinking further ahead than Christmas, if anyone is thinking about skiing or walking in the alps in the winter or spring/summer do feel free to get in touch, I would be happy to talk to you about whether you would like to use the place.
Also- in recognition that this is a blatant piece of advertising of our apartment on HOL, I am happy to make a donation to HOL's ongoing running costs if someone takes the apartment via HOL. Hopefully many of you will know me as a Harringay local, and a long time contributor to HOL.

Karen it is. I first went to Chamonix 20 years ago when I was teaching. I was lucky enough to have done the Duke of Edinburgh when I was at 6th form, and had a lot of camping and wild country experience from my old scouting days. As a result when I was teaching I got involved as a leader with the 6th form's DoE group who were going to do the Tour du Mont Blanc as their Gold practice expedition- I think the guy leading it was trying to get the kids fit enough to do their Gold hike in the Lakes by doing the 10 day+ trek round Mont Blanc. I did it several times, each time ending in the Chamonix Valley. Its where I fell in love with the area. Cham is as stunning in the summer as it is in the winter I can tell you.
This is the view directly in front of the apartment from our terrace. The contrast is not great (stood in shade and taking a pic of a very bright image- my camera is not smart enough to work it out), so the actual view is better than this I can tell you.
