Hi Marc - This looks like a really good, traditional-type, double pedestal desk. I'm sure it would look great with a sanding down of the surfaces, and a good coat of varnish. Hope you can find a good home for it. We have more desks of different kinds than we really need (house full of writer <g>). Best wishes - Chris
