Just saw this on Twitter

Good post Liz. I don't actually think Haringey has recycling facilities for paint so this is the best way to deal with that issue. The old fashioned way!
Hi Liz
We just missed that but hopefully the offer will come again. We are opening a new house of hospitality in Tottenham Hale and hope to be taking in guests in the coming months. We have been given plenty of furniture but we in desperate need of a fridge. If anyone has one they would like to give us please get in touch.
We have a well establish record of working with homeless migrants in the borough.

Eek - I thought it meant next week. Still maybe worth checking with them if they have any left
Hi Con
tell us a bit about who you are and what you do. Sounds worthwhile...
Just checked with @Londonwaste and they tell me you can get paint EVERY Tues and Wed
Hi Con
We might be able to help out with a good and 'presentable' (silver) fridge freezer but probably not for 4-6 weeks, we were thinking of selling but happy to give it to a good cause. Come to that we also have a good washer dryer as well! Could you give me more details about your organisation eg. are you a registered charity, is there a web site etc?
A reminder that this is happening every week *boost*
still waiting to find out about Con and his group?
The LBH recycling centres take in paint at any time (within their annoying 4pm closures...) and
Paint that is collected from Park View Road Reuse and Recycling Centre (and other facilities around London) is delivered to Forest Recycling Project (FRP), which runs the Community RePaint scheme in this area.
Residents and community groups can obtain paint from FRP to reuse, by visiting their facility in Walthamstow:
