If you’re looking to learn a new language, or even improve your English or another language you speak during COVID-19 lockdown, look no further - the Council have recently added Transparent Language Online to their list of library resources.
Transparent Language Online is an online tool giving access to courses in 100+ languages, as well as beginner English courses for non-native speakers of more than 25 languages.
The courses include speaking practice, audio files, listening, reading, and writing activities – however you like to learn, you can find a course that’s right for you.
Find out more and sign up at Haringey's Tranparent Language page.

It looks like a lovely idea. But you need a student or library card number to sign up.
That's fair, though. Otherwise all and sundry could sign up. A library card is free. It sounds like you can join online even whilst the libraries are closed.
