Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!

I have a 4mx 6 or 7m plastic tarpaulin that was rescued from a skip when we had a loft conversion done that someone is welcome to if they want it.

Hi Justin - if you don't mind me asking, how sturdy is the tarp? And how dirty? I'm thinking groundsheet for my tent, as my son managed to lose ours at a festival...

Hi Maddy.  Its clean- we have been using it to cover our bikes, so there are a couple of minor holes in. Not sure it is water tight enough to act as a ground sheet, its more of a cover than a water proofer as it were. Suggest you pop over and have a look, and if it is not appropriate then Elakarel has a water slide...

That's fine Justin, give it to Ela for the water slide. I probably need to buy a proper ground sheet as I got a cheap tarp last summer which was hopeless.

Ok, gotcha, I suspect this would rank in the 'hopeless' category for a tent! Will message Ela

Hi Justin (and Maddy),

If Maddy doesn't take it for any reason, please may I have it. Waterslide for summer!

Thanks,
Ela
