Free (ish) car park charging for electric cars

AN electric vehicle recharging scheme has been launched - with 12 charging points providing free power in car parks around Haringey.

The charging points include car parks in Summerland Gardens, N10, Stoneleigh Road, N17, Bury Road and Wood Green Shopping City, east and west in N22.

Haringey residents with electric vehicles who wish to use the facilities can join a membership scheme for an annual admin fee of £50, which will also include the provision of a charging lead and a permit to park in the 13 electric charging bays.
