Harringay, Haringey - So Good they Spelt it Twice!
Free Compost
On Sunday 30th October En10ergy & Sustainable Haringey are holding a compost giveaway from 10am to 3pm in the Paddock car park of Alexandra Park.
The compost is made at the Edmonton Eco Park from garden and food waste.
You will need to shovel your own compost so bring strong bags and shovels. Don’t do it if you have a bad back!

Note: If you can't get to this, Green Routes in Finsbury Park (by Manor House tube) have a huge pile of compost people can take for free (although they also appreciate donations to support their work)

Thanks Liz.
Does anyone know if there is any way of getting free compost delivered? I'm thinking of Fairlands, and whether we could get some delivered there to help with our autumn tidy up in early November. I'd not known about the compost at Finsbury Park either, certainly worth knowing about.
