FOOD from the SKY offering two volunteer apprenticeships beginning Feb

Pioneering food growing project FOOD from the SKY (FFTS) is offering two apprentice positions for the 2013 growing season.

The post is designed to give a budding grower all the knowledge and experience to grow and sell salads, herbs and other crops to commercial organic standard in an urban setting and is intended for people wishing to work in the organic food growing sector in London.

The apprenticeship is a voluntary position.

It will run from February to November 2013.

The apprenticeship will be for 1 or 2 days a week depending on your availability.

Workdays are: Wednesdays, Fridays and the occasional Saturdays.
The hours are 8am – 4pm before the clocks go back and 9am – 5pm in the summer.
