Yesterday morning was the first time Veolia were due to empty my new massive recycling bin. Did they manage? No. They emptied the food recycling bin, and did not touch the new green one.
Have reported it, hopefully they'll come back and sort it.
Anyone else had this problem yet? Seems they don't know they have to empty them now, they're no used to them being there with nothing in them..

Having refused the new large recycling bin, I'm still waiting for the new smaller bin so I put my recycling in my old square boxes. It wasn't picked up so I called Veolia. I was instructed to take the recycling out of the boxes and put it into bags to be picked up. I did this and am still waiting. Meanwhile, my front path is blocked by a load of plastic bags filled with recyclables. One bag's already ripped--no doubt with the help of a fox--and the contents were blown down the street.
This is really not good enough! Let's all report this today, shall we? And EVERY time it happens from now on. They'll have to get the message!

I'd say they're blocking the public footpath with this practice.
So the bin was put back, after my complaint last week. This week they only managed to collect the recycling bin (and put it back!), but left the food and garden waste. What's going on with these people, are they sleep walking? How hard is it to collect a few bins?
