Finsbury Park concerts next weekend
Not only is this an additional cost but since everyone has a set allocation and since this is not a one off as we are going to see this repeated over the summer I am asking the council at the very least be flexible on resident's allocations.
Residents were never consulted on additional parking hours for these events and the additional cost as a result.
I'll be keeping a very close eye on things next weekend to see how these arrangements work.

Let's hope the concerts go smoothly this time and the crowds are managed very well.
But if there is anti-social behaviour like that reported on HoL after the Stone Roses, then please record it, take a photo if you can, and email the organisers and the Licensing Officer. The licensing legislation has provision for residents to call for a review of a license if things go wrong. I would urge people to exercise this right as it is a tool to hold licensees to account and improve future practice. In my experience of sitting on licensing reviews were effective.

We, in Woodstock Rd, next to the park and concert site, have yet to receive the residents info leaflet. So those along here that don't have access to the internet won't have any idea of the road closures or the helpline phone number.

I'm appalled. I live 200m east off Turnpike lane (1.5 miles away) and I can hear the bass (and some music) from through my double glazing, opening the windows lets all of the concert in.
Further traffic tonight was significantly more congested. To get onto green lanes via seven sisters road, traffic is backed up all the way to holloway road! Parking unaffected, but that's probably because I live in the wood green CPZ.
This event is not organised & managed within acceptable parameters.

Report any concerns to the council's concert hotline on 020 8489 8232 (though in fairness large events have always attracted additional parking restrictions to stop concert goers parking in residents' streets after 6.30pm. It strikes me as one of the few things the council has got right with its new large events policy which could see five weekends a year of such events.

The Arctic Monkeys stink, I got a parking ticket because of them. I wouldn't mind getting a parking ticket if some rock legends were playing at the park, say perhaps, Queens Of The Stone Age. But I've just been whacked with a £130 fine because a middle of the road Radio 2 pop act, pretending to be rawwk rebels, have decided to hang out near my daughters' playground, which is just hilarious.
My parking fine costs more than a ticket to the gig. I should have paid to watch them and heckled for 2 hours.
As I write this I can swear I can hear the bassline of a Led Zepplin song, HOW DARE THEY! Someone pull the plug!

Yes, I was aware of that. I can only assume Josh was under the influence of peyote and mescal when he agreed to do it. And, no, it doesn't help; I still have a parking fine
