Finding stuff on HoL - some more help
I recognise that it's not always easy to find stuff on HoL. So, as time permits I'm trying to add the findability that the platform designers forgot.
I've just added a page on How to Find stuff on HoL as the latest in the How to on HoL series.
I've also finally gotten a site map done and have got our tag listing to the point where it's just about useful to site users.
In an ideal world I'd have the time to tag the:
5,983 discussions in 30 categories
468 blogs
2,000+ discussions in the groups
120 information pages
1,594 photos
163 videos
.......but I don't. I do a bit every now and again. But if there were one or two people who just love sorting and classifying information, then you could do us all a real favour, put up your hand and mebbe.....just mebbe help out with some tagging? (I live in hope!)

Liz* I was just teasing Hugh because i could not find HoL drinks nights next date with 'finding hol stuff'.
Plenty of stuff about lost cats though. (which i love to read about)

Tagging should help a lot, but you might find that there are other usability issues that get in the way of people finding what they need. Have you thought about some usability testing? Great way of getting an insight into what users need and how they go about looking for it. Happy to help with this if you like.
