On the run from mobsters, Grace wanders into a small town and in return for work, is given protection by the townsfolk, albeit reluctantly. However, their demands turn brutal when the police come looking for her. When the mobsters finally catch up with her, Grace has a choice to make; can she continue to turn the other cheek?
