"Failed Superstar" Dr Ayan Panja leaving Umfreville Road surgery

What an interesting sounding doctor we've had in our midst.

I've just picked up from the Twitter lines that apparently self-described 'failed superstar' Dr Panja is leaving the Green Lanes medical preactice in Umfreville Road.

I came across a Wikipedia entry for the doc and see that he's also something of a minor TV celeb, an authour and a musician.

Sounds like a bit of a character.

Oh no! Dr Panja was great. Of course the two practices at that surgery have merged now.

No surprise my mate of nearly thirty years was a hit as a GP. Even if he always felt music his vocation his manner is perfect for a medic - calm, intelligent, compassionate... a real loss for Harringay I am sure. Just as long as I have a no. 1 first I'm happy to wish him well!

On every occasion I saw Dr Panja, I really felt everything that Paulie said was there... Massive shame he's moved on, but very best wishes to him. Do we know what he's moved on to?

Am so sad that he's leaving - Dr Panja was the best doctor that I ever had in the UK.  Kind, considered, thoughtful - overall a fantastic doctor.  Our loss is St. Albans gain.

Dr Panja is a great doctor and obviously a lovely bloke. Best doctor we've had by a mile. We're really sorry to see him go. Good luck at your new place if you're reading this!
