Nowadays, it is easy to forget the pastoral scenes that once defined the borough.
This exhibition reconnects visitors to Haringey’s rural past through the art works of Horace A. Mummery, William Maliphant and William J. Gibbs, who were part of a group known collectively as the All Sorts Club.
All based in Wood Green in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, the members of the All Sorts Club - which included others of the Mummery family - produced a remarkable catalogue of paintings and drawings.
Together, they capture a landscape on the brink of industrial transformation and expansion into the urban city we are part of today.
