We've ended up in a position where my partner is going to be getting company car for which they've chosen an EV. We're lucky enough to have some charging points nearby (and there is now the fast chargers at McDonalds) but obviously been able to charge from home would be cheaper and more convenient.
Looking though the previous threads on here about this, it appears that running a cable across the pavement with a low profile cover is a no go (and I can kinda see why as it's not exactly salable if every house did this).
I was wondering if anyone had had any success with other methods. It seems something like Charge Arm or similar would be a possible solution (I know there is at least one house on the ladder that has this kinda of setup, although it's custom built), or something that Oxford council now permits which is a gully for the cable.
(Obviously either solution relys on been able to park out side your house, but even if this only happens every few days, been able to charge from home would be great).
